The oath of Jerusalem's market (ORP)
« on: 15 September, 2013, 02:28:39 PM »
Back from Gaaza's battle, rumours heard in Jerusalem's market made furious the Constable of Aragon, so he hurled:

"Kings, knights, merchants and pilgrims. As it seems we can't go back home because of new laws of a neighbour kingdom. If that's true, it's an unprovoked hostile act against lot of us. Maybe it's just a temporary problem, and diplomacy will find quickly an honourable solution. Anyway that's my oath: if we won't have granted safe way for embarkment within two days, next time I will came here to destroy the responsible of such annoying delay"

Hear ye O Israel .....

1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

4Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

5For there are set thrones of judgement, the thrones of the house of David.

6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

Shalom v' Shalom
