Provence Castle!
« on: 23 May, 2012, 09:29:08 PM »
A crowd of happy Savoyards stands outside the smooth stone walls of their newest construction

Septimus raises a flagon of ale and shouts "To Savoy! To the Duke! Hurrah!"

The crowd joins in cheering their country and their leader.

Chateau Balliot - Provence, Savoy

23-05-1312, 20:12:01: Duchy of Savoy finished building: Castle in PROVENCE.

Congratulations to the people of Savoy. We have completed the first ever Castle Project in Europe. We are now one of the 3 countries in the game with more than one castle.

Thank you to all of you for your service and perseverance during the building process. These projects are a enormous grind, but once complete they are well worth the effort.

Salute!!!!

Duke James

Warlord Thorsimund reveled with the merry crowd of barbarians celebrating the completion of this imposing castle. He was more than happy to help with the design and construction. Raising his tankard of ale high he shouted

"Stand proud, Savoyards. You've done well! Long live Savoy! Huzzah!"

The crowd answered with loud cries of "Huzzah!" in return, and Thorsimund drank his tankard dry. He then went to search for more ale to fill the empty tankard with.

Also to be clear...

Chateau Balliot is not named as such to honor Duke James Balliot, but rather his brethren and kin from the Northern lands. Cronan, Oskar, Ciaohound, Shaggy, Septimus, Henry-Arthur (and his family), and of course the departed and much admired Dukeslayer, Reina Balliot.

We salute thee the mighty Balliot clan from the North.
