A Walk In the Market
« on: 05 February, 2012, 04:04:02 AM »
The Most recent war with southern natives over, rested and well fed,
Taking with him a selection of herbs and flowers to charm the ladies at their Stalls ..

Takes a slow walk around the market, First Dropping into the Forge at the towns edge..

Walking in the warm cosy forge area he calls out ...
"Sir Richard Howard, if i may i would like to discuss a contract to make arms for the Kingdom
Armoury, As our territories expand we woulds need a defence of our expanding borders ."

pausing he thinks on the added workload, wiping the moisture from his brow with his sleeve-

"Perhaps we could hire some local lads to assist you in the extra labour"

"I am hopeful his Majesty will permit a group of gentlemen strong in defence honour, duty,
to form a group of local Forces ... a Round table Perhaps ? "

Scott had been asked time and again by his people for a list of prices for items.  While he didn't want to force anything on his people, there was a limit to what he was willing to pay for things and he didn't want to see his people taken advantage of either.  So after some foreigners came to town and tried to flood the market with high priced goods, he knew the time had come to post the suggested price list.  So he sent out a group of messengers to give a copy to everyone in the kingdom.  He then had them also posted in the market.
