« on: 03 August, 2017, 05:42:18 PM »
Andrew arrived at his villa that was just finished being built and instructed the servants to begin unpacking all the goods brought with him, while he looked around at his new home and took mental notes of where to place fields, ranches, and etc in the future.

Patrizio sailed to Jylland to visit Lord Naughton, recently arrived in Denmark.
He wished to welcome the english lord , true friend of their Queen , who had decided to settle in the danish kingdom.
He brought with him a set of new clothes that Lord Naughton had ordered to the best tailors of the realm.

In Jylland , people were curious to see that lord who had built, in a very short time, a magnific villa on the top of a hill, dominating all the bay.

" Have you found him ? " he asked to his servants , landed to Jylland before him.
He sipped his wine before leaving the ship looking for that beautiful mansion whose rumours at the harbor let guess the splendor.

The first time Lord Andrew had written her about his intention to visit Denmark, some months before,  Costance had been glad to welcome her good friend . She hoped he could find some comfort in that journey following the death of his beloved wife .

She had met Lord Andrew a couple of times during his stay in Sjaelland and they had talked about different matters and especially of that special woman that Eleanor was.

Lord Andrew felt the loss of his bride and Costance tried to find the right words to encourage him not  to loose the faith.
During their last meeting , Lord Andrew had told her about his decision to choose Denmark as his new home and start a new life there.

Costance was a bit surprised but she had expressed her joy and consent and she had wished him to find serenity among the danes.
A letter of him from Jylland , announced her that her friend had settled in that region and started to build a new home.

She thought  that, sooner or later, she had to find the time to visit him to admire his rigorous  work and to enjoy of his excellent company .

Gunnar Håmundarson had heard about the recent news that a nobleman from England wished to settle in Denmark. Since he was too busy himself in Viken, he could not go and welcome him himself. So he sat down at his desk and started on a letter.

This is what parts of the letter says:

Dear Lord Naughton.

We are all delighted to have a Lord coming here and settling down, this is all great news. However, it was sad to learn about the loss of your beloved Eleanor, and we are all sorry for that.

Lord Naughton, you are always welcome to visit the thriving region of Viken, to see the humble but almost new church there, being administered by me, appointed cleric there. I am also working as a blacksmith, having lots to do with both those assignment. If it had not been for that, I would have come to Jylland myself to greet you.

Lord Naughton, there will be a bed ready for you when visiting my humble church, unless you are spending the night in Lord Hugone's castle, our much loved vassal here.

After finishing the letter, Gunnar sealed it and sent a messenger boy to bring to the ship bound for Sjaelland - to be further reshipped from there and to the whereabouts of Lord Naughton in Jylland. He was delighted to have a new nobleman and a great warrior here, it would be good for us all, and especially if needing to fight an enemy. Yes, we are many, but Lord Naughton has some experience, and that counts a lot.

Gunnar would have loved to meet our new nobleman, but realized there was too much else at hands right now. But would there ever be enough time? He was a bit unsure of that, being busy with both worshippingTeos, healing patients and crafting goods.

Principe was often in Jylland where he had found one of the best taverns of the kingdom.
That inn was very renowded for its wine of high quality and for lovely young girls working as servants , bringing cheese and bread and sometimes offering nice smiles .

“Really a pretty sight !” he was thinking looking at a young blond girl servng food and wine and touching his cloack and his hair , almost casually .

“ I will invite Lord Naughton to taste the wine of this tavern “, he was thinking looking at another girl by brown ringlets and rose cheecks , “ he will surely appreciate the good wine produced in Denmark ", he laughed  with a litlle giggle.
